If you do not see the Read&Write for Google Chrome purple puzzle piece tab when you open Google Docs or Slides or the icon is missing on your Chrome toolbar, you may need to re-enable permissions. While I’m at it I’ll also explain how to add your own Google Chrome icon to your start menu and your taskbar, so you know how to get a Chrome icon there as well should you be interested.
